POSTCARDS OF SUPPORT

EVERYONE DESERVES SUPPORT

LGBTQ+ youth are amazing when they are able to thrive. But there has been a constant stream of attack on our young people in the community and we are peacefully pushing back with positivity.

Join us in POSTARDS OF SUPPORT.

Our critical support hotlines and programs provide a welcoming space for young people to be heard and build the tools for positive mental health. However, there are countless others who find themselves here on our websites not ready or able to reach out for the support they deserve which can leave them feeling silenced and forgotten.

We are partnering with LGBTQ+ youth from around the country to share their creativity in creating messages or drawings of support to those thinking of coming out, feeling alone, or just need to know they are part of a community that cares for them.

Join us to make sure every young person, no matter where they are on their journey know that they are a vital and valued part of the LGBTQ+ community.

A small gesture can have a huge impact

Studies have shown how that what can make a significant difference in a person’s wellbeing is knowing they are connected to a community and they have support.  It can lessen the likelihood of ending up in a crisis situation when a person has the knowledge that even if they don’t have immediate support in their every day lives, they still have the right to think about their own well being and seek out support on their terms.

Every young people should be able to see messages of encouragement and know that they valued and a vital part of the community.

If you are a QSA/GSA advisor or facilitate LGBTQ+ youth space and would like to participate, please reach out and we will send postcards supplies to you for free.  This can be a fun group activity for young people think about what they can say in their every day life to ensure everyone feels included and welcomed.

Please keep the message anonymous, keep it clean and positive vibes.

If approved, your message will join other messages of hope and support to those who need to see them.
